How do I measure my pet?
Measure while your pet is standing. For back length, measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. For chest girth, wrap the tape around the widest part of the ribcage. Keep the tape comfortably snug, then compare both measurements with the chart on the product page.
Which measurement matters most?
Chest girth is the most important measurement because the garment needs enough room around the ribcage for comfortable movement. Confirm the fit with back length. Weight and breed are useful starting points, but measurements should make the final decision.
What should I do if my pet is between sizes?
Choose the larger size, especially if your pet is stocky, deep-chested, still growing, or has a fuller coat. If you are unsure, email hello@yikeyo.com with the chest girth and back length, and we will help you choose.
Is the material stretchy?
It depends on the piece. Many everyday pajamas use soft stretch knits for comfortable stretch, while fleece, flannel, mesh, and tulle styles have different amounts of give. Check the Fabric & care section on the product page for the exact material before choosing a size.
Is it suitable for cats?
Many Yikeyo styles can suit cats, but suitability depends on the garment and your cat's comfort with clothing. Look for cats in the product description, measure chest girth and back length just as you would for a dog, and supervise the first wear. Email us if you would like help choosing a style.
